Podcast Marketing Coordinator
Position Description
Currently, we are hiring a part-time Podcast Marketing Coordinator to assist our team in the podcast production cycle. This role will require attention to detail known to legends like Leslie Knope and Steve Jobs. It helps to also bring a healthy dose of snark and wit to the role. They will be responsible for overseeing episode production as well as assisting with content writing, show notes, episode summaries, and marketing content. The Podcast Marketing Coordinator will also be responsible for assisting with online marketing operations for both HumblePod and a number of our clients.
Responsibilities

Assist with podcast production, promotional content creation, and other related marketing activities

Keep the HumblePod production team on track and ahead of production deadlines

Communicate & lead podcast production meetings with clients

Manage PR requests & approvals for clients

Maintain project information up to date across multiple project management platforms

Organize the daily show release schedule

Write show notes, episode summaries, and develop social posts

Develop promotional graphics and materials for episodes

Ability to work occasional nights & weekends to ensure client success around the world
Required Skills

College Degree (or at least three years of professional work experience)

Excellent oral and written communication skills for writing in a client’s voice and producing excellent marketing content

A deep understanding of the current social media landscape and marketing strategies

Keen attention to detail for quality assurance

Self-directed and proactive problem-solver

Strong project and time management abilities, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Experience using project management software (experience with ClickUp is a plus!)

Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Docs, Sheets, and Slides)

Experience with file storage software Google Drive & Dropbox
Preferred Skills

Experience with creating, hosting, and/or producing a podcast

Actively producing or participating in an ongoing podcast

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite tools (Specifically Audition, Premiere, Photoshop, and Illustrator)

Experience working with tech companies / startups
